Kickstarter is successful but there is still time to back it!

The Kickstarter is over and it was more successful than I could have imagined. It feels like a dream come true. Thank you for your support and for bearing with my incessant promotion - it’s not my favorite part of the gig! I am looking forward to focusing on finishing writing and recording these two records.

If you missed the Kickstarter deadline, you can still back the project and get the same rewards by using PayPal or check, just click here!

I am making TWO new records and you can pre-order them now!

I am thrilled to announce that the pre-order/Kickstarter campaign for my TWO new records is LIVE at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lukebrindley/luke-brindley-two-new-records

My goal, with your support, is to release two records this year: The Devil’s Drum is a singer/songwriter record and Symbus is a fingerstyle guitar record.

I wrote about 75 songs and settled on about 13 to record for The Devil’s Drum and Symbus is a group of instrumental pieces that grew out of the 1,000 or so daily posts I have been sharing on Instagram.

I wrote more about these two records and posted a short video offering more insight at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lukebrindley/luke-brindley-two-new-records.

The pre-order/Kickstarter will only last 30 days and funding is all or nothing, so I hope you’ll consider pre-ordering and helping to bring these to life.

Peace!

Dream Songs Part One - New Music With Words!

This is the first part of my new album, “Dream Songs”.

All the the songs were written in a dream or extemporaneously in a flash of inspiration in one sitting with minimal editing.

“Dream Songs” will be released in three parts. The first part, available today, consists of four songs. The other two parts will be three songs each to make a ten song album.

All three parts will be released digitally on a “pay what you can” basis. Depending on demand, I may make CDs or vinyl of the complete record, so let me know if you are interested in that.

Thank you for listening and for your support!

Luke

New Holiday Guitar Album Available Now!

I just released a 10-song album of (mostly) solo, not boring fingerstyle guitar arrangements of some of my favorite holiday tunes. It's called Holiday Guitar and features songs by J.S. Bach, Handel, some traditional songs, and more. Arrangements by John Fahey, El McMeen, Leo Kottke, and me. You can download for free or pay what you can at lukebrindley.bandcamp.com!
